The chair of Embedded Intelligence is held by Prof. Dr. Paul Lukowicz. Beyond that the Embedded Intelligence Group is part of the German Research Center for Artifical Intelligence (DFKI GmbH).

The research of the Embedded Intelligence Group focuses on the development of innovative solutions in the field of cross-linked sensor-actuator-systems and energy- efficient systems. The main research fields are:
